Utterly predictable tripe. The script is more dumbed down than an after school special, I found myself guessing and guessing right much of what the characters were going to say next. It runs on the done-to-death theme of the gambling whiz versus the casino tough guys watching them on security cameras. Expanding the cliché is a typical scene where the casino tough guys rough up the gambling whiz, and the whiz loses all his cash to the evil double crossing mentor. And of course there’s the unobtainable pretty girl who somehow gets obtained. And then there’s the big score and the big plan to get back at the big bad guy who shows his true colors in a stereotypical villain monologue and then of course gets his comeuppance in the end. But oh my goodness no, they couldn’t possibly let our hero keep his “ill-gotten” gains after it's over, not in an after school special like this! Where would be the big moronic moral of the story if our "misguided" hero got away with his mischief? Stupid, stupid, stupid to the nth degree stupid. I get the yawns just talking about this unoriginal, uninteresting and completely unnecessary movie. I’ll file it under: “Two Hours I Wish I Could Have Back.”
