Yeah I don't know. This movie is easy to watch for sure. It's a simple, mostly predictable story with no shocking twists, but the script and acting are pretty good which does a lot to make up for it's lack of originality. I was trying to figure out what it was about this film that seemed familiar, and then I realize it plays out just like all those cop-dramas on CBS. Take your pick: CSI, Without a Trace, Criminal Minds, The Unit, NCIS, whatever. Those shows are all so similar I sometimes mix them up in my mind, like you really could exchange around the characters between any and all of them and never notice the difference. In fact, the plot in this movie is very similar to an episode of CSI Las Vegas, the one where Nick Stokes gets kidnapped and buried alive with a camera on him that uploads to the internet so they can all watch him die. Anyways, Untraceable is not a mind blower but it didn't wholly disappoint me either, which is a lot coming from a picky son of a bitch like me. I'll file this one under: Turn Off Brain and Enjoy!
